  1. Loving all of this. I hope you checked the river depth. Who waded in?
Jeff should be getting in touch with you via the blog
Looking forward to more face time.

  2. Mark and Clare, finally I got back to Japan. This is Jorge Fukuda, the Japanese/Brazilian that introduced you to Koike and Sayaka ( the Mercedes SUV ) in the boat. I completed the ride to Moscow on the train, met lots of people and made many friends. Learned that the Russian people are very friendly, humble, they like to share the food ( at least in the train ), they have not too much hope on the future, in particular in Siberia where works is very scarce. I loved them and the scenic places on the way. I stopped in Irkustk, Novosibirsk and finally Moscow. Met rich, middle, poor, Soviet hard time era born people, after Soviet era sushi generation…etc. I would love to come back. Ya liubliu Rossiya!
I am loving reading and watching your videos…, do you have a drone to film? how you do the aerial videos…? all of them are great. Where did you and Koike/Sayaka split?
I did go to USA and crossed West to East by plane with my family. Then I went to Brazil for 2 weeks, did 4000km by car in the south, Sao Paulo, Foz do Iguassu, Whales watching on coast in Santa Catarina… saw many relatives, my daughter got to know them and learn about Brazil too.

How very nice to hear from you. We ended up staying with Taka san and Sayaka san for three and a half weeks!! It was fun….we introduced them to wild camping that Taka san loved but Sayaka san not do much;) when we got to Lake Baikal we came down south to Mongolia – which is an amazing place to drive and wild camp. I absolutely loved it!
